How do I create a countdown?
Tap the "+" button on the main screen, enter your event name, select a date and time, and tap "Save". Your countdown will appear on the main screen.
How do I add a widget to my Home Screen?
Long-press on your Home Screen, tap the "+" button in the top corner, search for "Countdown", select your preferred widget size, and tap "Add Widget". You can then configure which countdown to display.
How do I sync my countdowns across devices?
Countdown uses iCloud to sync your data automatically. Make sure you're signed into the same iCloud account on all devices and that iCloud is enabled for Countdown in Settings > [Your Name] > iCloud.
How do I set up reminders?
Open a countdown, tap "Edit", scroll to the Reminders section, and tap "Add Reminder". You can choose when to be notified before your event. Free users can set 1 reminder per countdown; Premium users get unlimited reminders.
What's included in Premium?
Premium unlocks unlimited countdowns, custom photos as backgrounds, multiple reminders per countdown, custom fonts, and categories to organize your events. It's a one-time purchase that lasts forever.
How do I restore my Premium purchase?
Go to Settings in the app and tap "Restore Purchases". Make sure you're signed into the same Apple ID you used to make the original purchase.
Why aren't my notifications working?
Check that notifications are enabled for Countdown in your device's Settings > Notifications > Countdown. Also ensure that reminders are set up for your countdowns within the app.
How do I delete a countdown?
Swipe left on any countdown in the list and tap "Delete", or open the countdown, tap "Edit", and scroll down to find the delete option.
Can I use my own photos as backgrounds?
Yes! Premium users can set custom photos as countdown backgrounds. Open a countdown, tap "Edit", and select "Choose Photo" to pick an image from your library.
Is my data private?
Absolutely. Your countdown data is stored locally on your device and in your private iCloud account. We don't collect analytics, track your usage, or sell your data. See our Privacy Policy for details.
