Furbabies collects only the information necessary to provide our pet age calculation services:
- Pet Information: Names, species, breeds, birth dates, and sizes of your pets that you choose to enter.
- Photos: Pet photos that you voluntarily add to your pet profiles. Photos are stored locally on your device and in your personal iCloud account if you enable sync.
- Usage Data: Anonymous usage statistics to help us improve the app experience.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Calculate and display your pet's age in human years
- Send birthday and milestone notifications (if enabled)
- Sync your data across your devices via iCloud (premium feature)
- Improve our app and develop new features
Data Storage and Security
Your pet data is stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. If you enable iCloud sync (premium feature), your data is also stored in your personal iCloud account, protected by Apple's security measures.
We do not have access to your iCloud data. Your information is encrypted and only accessible through your Apple ID.
Third-Party Services
Furbabies uses the following third-party services:
- Apple iCloud: For data synchronization across your devices (optional, premium feature)
- Apple App Store: For processing in-app purchases
We do not sell, trade, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.
Data Retention
Your data remains on your device until you delete the app or remove specific pet profiles. iCloud data is retained according to your iCloud settings and Apple's data retention policies.

- Edit or delete your pet profiles at any time
- Disable iCloud sync in the app settings
- Request deletion of all your data by contacting us
Children's Privacy
Furbabies does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The app is designed for general audiences and does not require any personal information about the user.
